Spring Update & Expansion Plans
Weighing Scales Ltd & Temperature Test are expanding again. With a new workshop extension nearing completion, for 2019 we have also branched out with the services we are able to offer to our customers.
We have employed another new member for our service team, Andy Hollywell, who brings with him a wealth of expert knowledge in vernier, micrometer, length gauge and digital caliper calibration, which we now provide alongside our usual weighing and temperature equipment calibration.
If we have visited you over the last couple of months, you may have already seen Andy doing his stuff on-site. If you haven’t seen him yet, please do look out him and his friendly smile…. at 6ft 4in, he certainly won’t be hard to spot either!
We have also moved with the times and you will see our engineers using I-Pads on site, making our service more streamlined and ensuring the engineer’s calibration reports are sent back to the office quicker so we may issue your certificates promptly… Handy when you need to call us in for an impromptu visit prior to an auditor’s visit! Our calibration certificates are currently traceable to National Standards with our ISO 9001:2015 certification …. but we may have some exciting news on this later in the year, so keep your eyes peeled.
We will also be branching in to fabrication, hence our new workshop. There will be no more waiting 4-6 weeks for British Made Steel platforms, we guarantee our turnaround will be second to none, but would you really expect anything less from a company that year on year, retains 98% of our contract customers?
